Peter B. Stewart

Peter B. Stewart:

A proud lifelong resident of Fayetteville, having been born and raised in the area. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1978 with a degree in Business Management and Economics.

Peter dedicated the first 30 years of his career to the family automotive business. He then transitioned to an eight-year role with Beasley Media Group, focusing on account sales and marketing. In 2019, he joined the Franklin Johnson Group, where he continues to excel in his professional endeavors. With over 20 years of experience in managing and selling residential and commercial properties, Peter is committed to helping clients navigate the real estate market effectively.

He is also deeply engaged in the community, serving in various leadership roles throughout his career. His contributions include:

– Volunteer and campaign chair for United Way

– Chair of the Boy Scouts Council Dinner

– Chairman of the Military Affairs and Small Business Council for the Fayetteville Area Chamber of Commerce

– Campaign chair for the Schools and Roads Bond initiative

– Co-chair for Parks and Recreation Bonds

– Youth soccer coach

– Past board member and chair of the General Hugh Shelton Leadership Center at North Carolina State University

Currently, Peter serves as a board member and past chair of The Salvation Army, and he is an honorary member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He is also a lifetime member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association and has been actively involved at Haymount United Church as well as being a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. Additionally, he serves on the Cades Cove HOA Board.

Peter is married to Paula Davenport Stewart, and together they have four children, all of whom are married, and they take great joy in spending time with their eight grandchildren.

Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Fayetteville, Peter aims to make the community a wonderful place to live, work, and play. His extensive knowledge of Fayetteville and the Fort Bragg community enables him to assist others in meeting their unique needs effectively.
